Legalizing Marijuana- Cause and Effect

Marijuana is one of the worlds most popular drugs and most harmful. Yet in many countries the drug can be used and is allowed. But in the United States the drug is illegal yet somehow people always find a way to get it in from Mexico and other countries where ti is grown. It is a good thing that this drug is illegal because that way we can minimize the drug circulation and prevent it from even crossing our borders. But what if marijuana was legalized and could be purchased at the local drug store or gas station? The effect on this would be very catastrophic due to the drugs high cost. It would bring the market way up but would destroy everyone who smokes it.
There are many reasons why this drug should not be let legalized. One is that young teenagers would have the double of impact on wanting to try the dangerous drug. If it was available to buy at the drug store then most teenagers would take advantage. It would have a huge effect on the number of people out on the streets smoking and would no longer want to smoke regular cigarettes but rather the drug. It is also probable that children would start smoking at a younger age due to the influence that they would be getting from friends and even family. You would also most likely see more people dying sooner everyday. Marijuana is twice as harmful as a regular cigarette and twice as more addicting because of the high amount of nicotine it has. One joint of marijuana is equivalent to smoking three cigarettes which can triple the rates for lung cancer.
These are just some of the reasons why marijuana should not be let legalized and keeping out and away from our borders. The less young people America can have out on the streets the more doctors, nurses, engineers, painters, and CEO's we can have out in the business world. America would be such a better place without marijuana

The Three Little Pigs- Narration

Three little pigs went out to buy materials to build a house. The first one bought straw, the second bought sticks and the third one bought bricks. After there houses were finished along came the wolf. The wolf blew down the house of straw of the first little pig and ate him. The wolf blew down the house of sticks of the second little pig but managed to escape and ran off to his brothers house who had his house made of bricks. The wolf blew and blew but could not bring down the house. He decided to climb down the chimney, but the pigs were fast to react. They put a pot of boiling water on fire and the wolf fell down and the two little pigs had wolf stew for supper.

Sex Before Marriage

Many people today believe that having sexual intercourse before marriage is a common and normal thing. Others think that it is better to wait until you are married and find the right person to do it with at the right time. Personally I believe that it is better to wait until marriage for alot of reasons. It may seem hard to hold back on all the temptations but it is 100% worth it. I know that I have made some bad decisions in my life but if I could go back and fix my mistakes I would and I would keep it like that until the day I say "I do".
One of the main reasons that people should wait to have sex after marriage is because of the all the STD's that are out there and can be transmitted with just one time that you do it. AIDS, gonorrhea, are among the most common STD's that can be caught and the worst thing is that there is no cure for these types of diseases. Although many say that using condoms is the solution, they are never 100% secure and safe. The only way for sure is abstinence. Another reason that people shouldn't is because of teen pregnancy. For the past ten years or so the percentage of teen pregnancy has more than double meaning that teens are not being carefull of their decisions. Having a baby is a beautiful thing but no teen is ready yet to carry on the day to day responsibilities of having a baby. Thats why its better to wait until marriage so people can have as many kids as they want and will be able to raise them properly. The last reason is because of your own dignity. People lose respect and their own dignity when they are seen going around sleeping with any guy or girl they meet. Its better to wait so that others can look up to you and keep your dignity clean.
These are just some of the reasons why people should wait to have sexual intercourse until after marriage. Teen girls feel presured by their boyfriends and threaten them by saying if they dont get any then they will leave them. Others trick them by saying its love and feelings. There are other ways you can show someone you love them and if someone only wants you only just to do it than leave them because if you do than you are only getting used. Abstinance is the key and the wait is worth it.

Foods- Classification

Almost every country of the world today has their own and unique food or special dish. Here in America, we find all kinds of foods almost everywhere we go . Personally I enjoy 3 types of foods Mexican, American, and Italian. Tacos, nachos, burritos, enchiladas, and tamales, can be classified as Mexican food. Hamburgers, hotdogs, BBQ, and sandwiches fall under American food. Lastly is pasta, pizza, lasagna, and raviolli are all classic Italian dishes. People can tell these dishes are Italian because they all use pasta sauce, they are all made out of dough, and even their names are Italian. As we can see the world has alot to offer when it comes to food, its only a matter of choice of what we like to eat.

Grade Essay- What grade I deserve

In English 071, I have learned a lot of new things that sure enough will help me out a lot in my next English course that I take next semester. I have spent a lot of time and effort putting everything that I have into my studies and to pick a grade is easy. I believe that I deserve an "A" in the class for all my hard work that I have accomplished. It hasn't been easy for me this semester as a first year student and have come across a lot of things that some I expected from college and some that I didn't. So far I have had a lot of success in all my classes and I can say that English 071 has been my easiest class this semester.
I believe that I deserve an A in the course for many reasons some more than others. First of all like I mentioned, I have always tried to put all my best in everything that I do especially in school because i know that my future depends on my education. Not only have I demonstrated that I can do good on my own, but when it comes to team work, I'm a team player. Teamwork is a huge part of everyday life and a lot of employers today look for team players. Whenever we did a team project in class, I always made sure that my part of the job was always completed by the due date. I knew that I had to do it because my team depended on my work and I was never going to let them down. I believe I was responsible enough to make sure my job was done and was also able to help out other team members when they needed it the most. I have also turned in all of my assignments on time and have made the most of my class time to get a head start on any essays and homework. I have always payed attention in class whenever we have taken notes and have never been afraid of asking any questions. All of my instructors have told me that it has been a pleasure in having me in their class and wished me luck in all areas of my life which proves that I'm an exceptional student and have the desire to be a successful person in life. The only thing that I know I have to work on is my attendance. I realize that I have missed a couple of classes, but have been able to pull myself up and catch up and overcome myself in difficult situations.
Overall I think that I have been a great student in this class which is why I believe that when I receive my report card, that I expect to see and A in English 071. I have proven to myself as well as others that I can be a successful student in college and later on in a university. That is why I believe that I deserve an A in this course.

Pen vs Pencil- Compare and Contrast

The difference between a pen and a pencil is as clear as day light. Many people today prefer to write with a pen instead of the usual boring pencil. A pen consist of a plastic covering to hold the ink inside and usually comes in many colors. Blue and black being the most common. On the contrast, pencils are made out of wood and come with a rubber eraser on the tip and unlike pen it only comes in one color, dull and boring gray. Although it may be easier to write in pencil in case of errors, writting with pen makes writting more ligitamic and professional. But in the long run, they both serve one purpose and that is to write, although one may be better to write with in certain occasions. Pencils are great when taking a test or drawing, and pens are needed when signing a contract or making a rough draft look professional as a final draft. Pen or pencil, What will you chose today?
